This page explains how you can install the latest version of the TheSuperHackers patch build. This is a work-in-progress and not a final version. It's recommended to check back weekly to get the latest version.

Generals Online

If your main intention is to play multiplayer, please have a look at https://playgenerals.online first. This is a more advanced and developed platform specifically meant for playing the game online.

Although the TheSuperHackers build can work with LAN multiplayer, the average player will have a better experience with Generals Online due to its many features and additional multiplayer-only game fixes.

Installing the TheSuperHackers Build

1. Make sure you've installed the game and used GenPatcher to fix your game. Although this is not a hard requirement, it is still highly recommended. If you intend on playing multiplayer, it's also highly recommended to go to the Playing Online tab and enabling the Network optimizations toggle.
2. Click here to download the latest version of the TheSuperHackers build.
3. In GenPatcher, go to the Installation Info and click on the Installation Directory link for Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour. Alternatively, if you have the game installed with Steam, go to your Library. Find Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour, right-mouse click it and select Properties, then go to Installed Files, and click on the Browse button.
4. Extract the files here into this directory.
5. Run generalszh.exe to launch the game.
